Our Purpose

Healthcare organizations range in size and scope from large integrated delivery systems to very specialized organizations that provide behavioral health care, pharmacy benefits management, or disease management services.

Transactions can occur between consumers and healthcare professionals, between consumers and organizations, and between professionals and the organizations and systems in which they provide services. Therefore, transactions can be thought of as the various interdependent relationships that may occur across the many levels of the healthcare system.

Although we focus our attention primarily on specialized healthcare organizations, we are interested in all of the transactions that can occur in the healthcare environment.
